
Don Sorensen
Registered Physiotherapist/ Clinic Owner
Don’s involvement in sports while growing up was the catalyst for his career. He studied at Mount Royal College in Calgary, and graduated with a Diploma in Athletic Therapy. After working in a private practice physiotherapy clinic for a couple of years, he was accepted into the Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1999.
After graduating, Don took over the practice where he first fell in love with physiotherapy, Bowmont Physical Therapy in Calgary. Not long after, he fell in love again and moved to Wasaga Beach with his new wife Catharine. In 2005 he opened Body ‘n Balance Physio & Wellness and in 2017 opened a second practice in Creemore.
Don’s treatment philosophy is to treat everyone as an individual. He believes it is important for patients to have a good understanding of their injury or impairment and therefore takes the time to explain anatomy, X-ray and MRI reports, & assessment findings. He has a passion and special interest in running and running injury prevention.
Fun facts about Don: His favourite team is the Calgary Flames and he still loves playing hockey as a goalie despite his lack of flexibility.In 2016 he ran the Boston Marathon.

Erin Rinaldi
Registered Physiotherapist
Erin is currently away on mat leave and not accepting patients
Erin graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and then traveled to Ireland to study Physiotherapy, where she received a Masters’s degree from University College Dublin. Through her education and work experience, Erin has developed an evidence-based treatment approach to rehabilitation including exercise and manual therapy. She has a special interest in shoulder, knee and sports injury rehab. Erin has continued her professional development, taking courses in concussion management, and offers acupuncture treatment!
Fun fact about Erin: She lived in Dublin Ireland for 2 years but she still can’t understand Irish people.

Katelyn Long
Certified Athletic Therapist/Physiotherapist Assistant
Katelyn graduated from Sheridan College in 2021 with an Honours Bachelor degree in Applied Health Sciences – Athletic Therapy. She specializes in sports injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, and management of musculoskeletal injuries. She has an interest in concussion management and uses manual therapy, modalities, exercise prescription as well as bracing and taping to help get clients back to 110%. You can find Katelyn out on the trails hiking or camping when she’s not playing volleyball or soccer.
Fun Fact: At 6’2″, Katelyn was the tallest girl in the entire Ontario Colleges Athletic Association league for all 3 years she played volleyball.

Paige White
Patient Experience Manager
Paige graduated from Georgian College in 2019 with a diploma in Office Administration – Health Services. She enjoys working amongst others in the health industry and learning more each day. In her spare time you will find her spending time with friends and family, running, and playing soccer and badminton. Paige’s favourite aspect of working at Maximum is working with each patient from their entrance to their exit, to make sure they always leave with a smile on their face; as well as working with such an incredible team.
Fun fact about Paige: Paige’s nickname growing up from almost all of her coaches was “smiley” because she never stops smiling!

Keri Green
Patient Experience Manager
Keri completed the Fine Arts Program at Georgian College in 2012 and while artistically inclined, has always had an interest in biology and health sciences. Her favourite aspect of working at Maximum is the positive environment that it creates for both its patients and team. Having worked in the customer service industry for over 15 years, Keri enjoys learning the health industry and being able to create a safe and welcoming experience for patients from their initial assessment to the time that they graduate from their treatment plan. In her spare time you will find Keri spending time with family and friends, working on her in-laws farm, hiking, and creating all different kinds of art.
Fun fact about Keri: In 2023 Keri climbed Picacho Peak in Arizona, hiking 3 miles to the top of the mountain, where at 3374 ft above sea level she was proposed to.
